Little Lake City School District has a long and distinctive history of excellence. Serving the communities of Santa Fe Springs, Norwalk, and portions of Downey, the District educates 4,900 youngsters in grades K-8 at seven elementary schools and two middle schools.

In a sprawling metropolitan area like Los Angeles County, it is hard to find a community and school district that offer as much as Little Lake. Little Lake maintains a small hometown atmosphere. Our principals and staff work hard to meet the individual learning needs of students in a family-friendly and highly supportive atmosphere. As a result, families move into the area and stay for generations.

Little Lake enjoys a stable, seasoned management team, and employs highly qualified teachers. Students also benefit from active community participation and high parent involvement. If you are new to Little Lake, we invite you to contact the District Office and visit our schools. If you are already a member of our school community, we invite you to bookmark this web site and visit it often for information about the District and our schools.

Mission

With a focus on learning, the shared mission of the Little Lake City School District community is to provide a quality education that ensures success for every student.
